Irrigation Technology: In 1992, with regards to the letter number 1226/22 dated July 3rd 1993 from the Director General of the Office for Development of Higher Education, the field of Irrigation Technology (Associate level) replaced the field of Agriculture Technical Affairs (Subfield of Water) and in the same year 22 students were admitted in this field. Since 1992, an average of 30 students study in this field annually.

Irrigation Engineering: In 1998, with regards to the letter number 3494/22 dated September 26th 1998 from the Minister of Culture and Higher Education of the time, agreement was reached regarding the establishment of the field of Agricultural Irrigation Engineering at the B.A level while maintaining the associate level of Irrigation Technology in Bu-Ali Sina University and subsequently the first 32 students were admitted in the field of Agriculture- Irrigation Engineering at B.A level in 1999.

M.A: In 2002, agreement was reached for the establishment of M.A course in the field of Irrigation and Drainage and in 2003 the first group of students consisting of 5 students were admitted in this field. Later in 2011, establishment of the M.A courses in Water Resources and Hydraulic Structures was agreed upon. Also agreement for the establishment of the field of Meteorology was concluded in 2013. In recent years (since 2001), considering the policy of the university regarding the development of paid courses, all of the above-mentioned courses are also offered as paid courses.
