About the Department


Activities of the Department of Agricultural Biotechnology started in 1999 by admitting M.A students in the field of Agricultural Biotechnology. Later in 2011 first group of PhD. students started their studies in this department.

Department of Agricultural Biotechnology currently undertakes educational and research activities in the following levels and subfields with 5 faculty members (2 associate professors, 2 assistant professors and 1 Commissioned to study):

Agricultural Biotechnology with 25 students

  1. PhD.

Agricultural Biotechnology with 4 students
